School Profile
Cornerstone High School has been teaching students since 1978. We are dedicated to educating students in preparation for higher education, as well as helping them to grow in their spiritual lives. We are a Messianic Jewish school, serving students from varied backgrounds. We also serve the homeschool community, allowing students to enroll part time to supplement their education at home. We have begun the process of accreditation, having been established as Cornerstone High School for 10 years. Our student body has grown from 10 to 50 students, in grades 9-12. Our small class size allows for individual attention, and encouraging of each student's interests and abilities.
Staff
This year our staff includes 9 teachers, each one with either a Bachelor's or Master's degree, and an average of 8 years of experience teaching in his/her field. Several on the staff have been teaching for 20-25 years or more. Each one is expert in his/her field of teaching, 5 of them having worked in that field before teaching.
Curriculum
We offer a full senior high school curriculum through the four years. Honors courses are available, including Hebrew, History, English and Mathematics. Honors students in 11th and 12th grade are also eligible to take courses at local colleges, including Eastern University, Villanova, and Delaware County Community College. Students have taken courses there which have been accepted at their colleges once they graduate. All students have the opportunity to work in internships for a full day per week. This gives them an opportunity to try different areas that may be of interest to them. Our mock trial and debate teams have excelled. We also had a team of “senators' who participated in a mock government program.

Spiritual Growth
While we endeavor to provide a high academic education, the students’ spiritual growth is of primary concern to us as well. We want to help each student develop a personal walk with the Lord, and be able to live that walk each day. Our small size allows the teachers to develop close relationships with the students, which gives up opportunities to model behavior, as well as counsel the students in situations that arise. Our student body is from varied backgrounds, but they all come from families who are like-minded. Together we are working towards the goal of having our young people grow into the fulness of what God has set before them.
