James Morse
James Morse is an excellent teacher, helping us with Hebrew,
Math, and Bible classes. James took to foreign languages at an
early age. He studied Latin, French and German at the Noble and
Greenough School in Boston, where he graduated summa cum laude
and earned the Volkmann prize for excellence in foreign
languages. For two summers he lived and worked in Austria among
speakers of French and German, and has traveled extensively
since then.
Raised in a Reform Jewish home, James was an Honors student at
the University of Michigan, where he began to study philosophy.
As a result of his studies, and the testimony of his born-again
apartment-mates, James received his Messiah, Yeshua in 1980. He
then pursued Biblical studies, Hebrew and Greek for the rest of
his time in college.
James’ calling to Messianic Judaism brought him to Philadelphia
where he has been an active member of Beth Yeshua for over 25
years. While in Philadelphia, he earned a BBA in Finance and
Management from Temple University, where he was named a
president’s Scholar and won the Wall Street Journal Award for
academic excellence.
James has taught at Chalutzim Academy for a number of years, and
ministered internationally with the Messianic Jewish Alliance.
He is now teaching and working towards his M.Ed. At Eastern
University.
He is an enthusiastic teacher, well liked by his students,
dedicated to providing them with an excellent education.
